Attract more members
Attract new members with an offer that fits.
Give older adults, runners and other audiences a concrete reason to choose your gym. Build targeted offers around Alphatek’s test concepts, with our help to get started.
Five concepts. One solution. Choose who to reach first.
Who would you like to reach?
Choose an audience and see how a test concept could become part of your offer.
01 / 05 · Senior Fitness Test
Older adults
An offer built around everyday life.
Reach older adults who want to maintain strength, function and confidence in daily life. A personal assessment gives you a starting point for recommending relevant training.
Something concrete to discuss
Strength, function and balance. Use the results to give specific training advice and tailor follow-up.
Example membership offer
Senior assessment with a personal review and tailored training offer.
An older adult performs guided exercises and reviews the results with a trainer.
Active adults and newcomers
Spark curiosity. Give training a starting point.
Give people considering exercise something concrete to be curious about. Fitness Age is a quick assessment that makes test results easier to understand and discuss.
Something concrete to discuss
Strength, jumping performance and balance compared with reference data. Fitness Age describes test performance, not biological age.
Example membership offer
A membership campaign including Fitness Age and a personal review.
Also for businesses
A corporate membership with Fitness Age and a personal introduction for employees with different abilities and goals.
The film shows Fitness Age with exercises on the Alphatek platform and feedback on the screen.
Unsure about strength training
Make strength training easier to approach.
An introductory technique session gives new members a supportive start. The personal trainer and member look at measurements together and try adjustments to the exercise.
Something concrete to discuss
Live measurements and feedback, including during squats. Measurements support the trainer’s judgement of technique and load.
Example membership offer
A personal technique session to get started with strength training.
Squats with feedback on screen. The film shows left-to-right balance and how pressure shifts during the lift.
Runners
Give runners a reason to join your gym.
Reach people who mainly train outdoors with an offer that complements their running. Use the assessment as a starting point for strength training and individual follow-up.
Something concrete to discuss
Tests of the right and left leg, including hop tests. The trainer considers the results together and recommends areas to work on.
Example membership offer
A runner assessment, personal review and tailored strength programme, perhaps in partnership with a local running group.
Also for businesses
An offer for a company running group with runner assessments, personal reviews and strength training to complement running.
The film shows guided single-leg jumps and a review of measurements. It illustrates platform exercises, not the complete Runner Profile test battery.
Athletes and ambitious exercisers
Reach people who want more from training.
Build a visible offer for physical development. It gives you something specific to present to individual athletes and local teams and clubs.
Something concrete to discuss
Test batteries with strength and jumping exercises give coaches a basis for planning follow-up and tracking changes in test results.
Example membership offer
Performance assessment and training support for athletes or local teams.
Squats with lifting-speed feedback. An example of training with Alphatek, not a full Performance Screening.
Who does what when the offer goes out?
Alphatek supplies the test concept
We develop the test concepts and help you choose the first one. Installation and staff training are part of getting started.
Your gym owns the offer
You choose the audience, shape the offer around them and make it visible — on your website, on social media or through local partnerships.
The trainer leads the conversation
The trainer runs the assessment, uses the results and report to discuss the person’s goals and needs, and explains how training with you could fit.
Start with one audience. Expand when it suits you.
All five concepts are part of the same solution. You could start with older adults, use Fitness Age in your next membership campaign and develop a running offer later.
Your offer. Your identity.
Use your own offer names and visual identity in marketing. The test concepts keep their names in the Alphatek system.
Retain more members
Make the first session the start of a relationship.
Use Fitness Age to establish a starting point, discuss personal goals and agree on what comes next. Follow up with new assessments and use the results to consider what the member needs next.
Use the review to discuss personal goals and what comes next.AI illustration
Give new members a specific reason to attend their first session.
With Fitness Age, you can invite members to assess their strength, explosive power and balance. Use the results to get to know them and discuss what they want from their training.
The assessment is one part of onboarding. The conversation and what you agree afterwards are just as important.
The film shows Fitness Age with exercises on the Alphatek platform and feedback on the screen.
From the first meeting to follow-up
What have you agreed before the new member leaves?
01
Establish a starting point
Complete Fitness Age and review the results together. Give the member time to ask questions and share their experience.
02
Find a personal goal
Discuss what the member wants to achieve and why it matters. Their goal may relate to daily life, an activity or something they want to master in training.
03
Agree on the next step
Consider personal training first. If it is not a good fit, find suitable group classes or offer practical training guidance. Agree on the next step using your centre’s existing routines.
04
Review progress together
Agree when to meet again. A reassessment gives you a fresh starting point for discussing training and considering further support.
A plan. An agreed next step. A time to review progress.
Make the next step practical with relevant coaching.AI illustration
A next step that fits the member.
Use their goal and the conversation to find a relevant way forward.
Personal training
For members who want closer guidance and help working towards a personal goal.
Group classes
Find classes that suit the member’s interests, goals and starting point.
Training guidance
Offer practical advice on exercises and how the member can get started independently.
Reassessment and follow-up
Give follow-up a concrete starting point.
The first assessment gives you a baseline. When you reassess, you can review changes and discuss how training has been going. Use the conversation to adjust what you agreed.
Results staying the same? Discuss the member’s training, goals and daily life. Consider together whether closer support from a personal trainer could be relevant.
A tool for your trainers. A process for your centre.
Alphatek helps you get started
We provide the tool, assessment results, installation and training. Together, we identify a first use that fits your centre.
Your centre sets the process
Decide how Fitness Age fits into onboarding, who follows up and how you arrange the next meeting within your existing routines.
The trainer supports the member
The trainer guides the assessment, discusses personal goals and follows up on what you have agreed with the member.
Already have an onboarding session?
Fitness Age can become a regular part of your existing approach. Keep what works and use the assessment to support conversations about goals, training and follow-up.
Increase revenue per member
Three revenue opportunities. What would each require?
Premium memberships, personal training and paid assessments are three offers you can build around Alphatek. Explore what each requires and use your own figures to put a scenario together.
Divided by your member count. Membership duration and sales to non-members are separate calculations.
01 / Premium
Give a higher membership tier something concrete.
Fitness Age with a results conversation gives you something specific to include in a premium membership. Members can choose a higher tier with a defined offer. The supplement becomes part of their recurring membership payment, and your centre needs capacity to deliver what is included.
Define the number of assessments with a results conversation each year, a booking type and who invites the member. Set up invitations and reminders in your centre’s own systems.
Set clear limits on what is included. Unlimited testing can use more trainer time than you have allocated. Choose the scope based on your capacity, delivery time and costs.
02 / Personal training
A concrete starting point for the PT conversation.
With Alphatek Fitness Age, a trainer can review a member’s starting point and connect the results to a personal goal. The assessment step can be consistent across trainers. This provides common ground for recommending relevant support, both in the first conversation and at the next review.
When a member is considering PT
Start with what the member wants to achieve. Present different levels of help so the decision is about the support that fits their goal and daily life.
When discussing the next period
Review new measurements alongside the member’s training experience. Discuss what has changed, what remains and whether further PT support is relevant. A change in a number alone does not determine their needs.
NOT CLEARED FOR WEB
Use the review to discuss the goal and the support the member wants.
Make the level of support a concrete choice.
01
A programme to follow independently
Guidance and a practical plan for members who want to train on their own.
02
A short starter package
Help getting started, with a reassessment as part of the agreed programme.
03
Closer support
Personal training and regular conversations about goals, training and adjustments.
03 / Paid assessments
Assessment as a standalone service.
You can offer paid assessments to members outside their included allowance. Make the results conversation part of the service: help the member understand their starting point, choose a focus and consider the next step. A single assessment is one offer; ongoing support is a separate choice.
Assessments for non-members and companies can be a separate revenue stream. They are excluded from the revenue-per-member calculator.

Starting point
What do your own figures show?
Enter your current figures and the assumptions you want to explore. All amounts refer to an average month and the same member base. Enter 0 for any offer that does not apply.
Your scenario · before costs
Start with your own figures.
Complete every field to see revenue per member, each offer’s contribution and the annual difference. No industry assumptions have been prefilled.
These are your assumptions, not our promises. Alphatek has not documented an effect on revenue per member. To find out what actually happens at your centre, the answer is a pilot with defined measures — not a figure from us.
Start with your own figures.
What this calculation includes
Membership payments + PT packages + paid assessments sold to members, divided by member count. The premium supplement is added only to the scenario.
PT shares refer to purchasing one package in an average month, including first purchases and repeat purchases. They are not the share of members using PT over a whole year.
A member can buy both premium and PT. Included assessments are not counted as separate sales. Non-member revenue, growth and membership duration are excluded.
System costs, trainer delivery time and other operating costs have not been deducted. The result is not profit, a return on investment or a forecast.
Every offer needs a routine behind it.
Booking and capacity
Create dedicated booking types. Measure the full delivery time, including the results conversation, and allocate capacity for what you include.
A responsible trainer
Agree who leads the conversation, recommends the next step and follows up with the customer.
Invitations through your own systems
Use your centre’s booking or membership system for invitations and reminders. These are routines you set up within your operation.
Training and records
Give trainers a shared approach. Record the source, owner, dates, chosen focus, recommendation and any purchase within your existing routines.
Operational questions
We already offer a free consultation. What does this add?
Look at how your consultation ends today: does the member have a specific goal, an agreed next step and a date for another review? Fitness Age can provide a common assessment basis within your existing approach.
Our trainers are not salespeople. How would this work?
Start with the member’s goals and needs. The trainer recommends a suitable level of support and explains what each offer includes. The member chooses.
Will a premium membership just add more work?
Assessments and conversations take time. Define the allowance, measure delivery time and set a scope you can fulfil. Calculate costs before deciding on price and capacity.
What does it cost to offer assessments?
That depends on system configuration, training, staffing and delivery time at your centre. The calculator shows revenue using your figures. Investment, operating and delivery costs need to be assessed separately.
From assumptions to something you can measure.
A scenario is a starting point for discussion. In a limited trial, you can track what is actually sold, how long delivery takes and which offers members use.
Record your starting point
Use the same period and definitions for membership revenue, PT sales and paid assessments.
Try a defined offer
Agree the scope, owner and measures you will track. Record delivery time and costs too.
Review the figures together
Look at actual sales, usage and resource needs. Consider other changes during the period before drawing conclusions.
Whichever goal you start with, we help you make Alphatek part of everyday work at your gym.
NOT CLEARED FOR WEB
Alphatek in a training environment. We help you choose the size and placement.
01
Easy to use. Quick to learn.
The system guides each test. Your personal trainers learn to start an assessment, read the results and use them in a conversation with the member.
02
Robust equipment in several sizes.
The system fits most gym environments. We help you choose a size and position that work for your gym.
03
We help you get started.
We choose the first concept together and help with installation and training. You get a practical starting point suited to your audience and offer.
04
A clear next step for the member.
The report gives the personal trainer and member something concrete to discuss. Use the results to agree on training, follow-up and a new assessment.
How does staff training work?
Fitness Age has a mobile-friendly online course of around 15 minutes, with automatic reminders for personal trainers. The other concepts are covered in a workshop based on the offer you want to start with.
Can we follow how much it is used?
Contact Alphatek for an overview of tests and activity on your machine. This describes testing activity; you track membership development in your own systems.

Evaluation study
How AlphaPWR measurements compared with a laboratory reference
This evaluation compared concurrent AlphaPWR and laboratory-reference measurements during countermovement jumps. Across 124 analysed jumps, the reported mean biases were small for the assessed metrics. Jump height differed by -0.22% on average, while mean and peak force differed by approximately 1.1% and 1.17% respectively.
